What can you do on a Sunday?
Well, in the case of March 13 you can go to a ripping loud rock show in New London.
You see, on that day, there is a show taking place featuring Fucking Invincible, Empty Vessels, Ascend/Descend and Idle Time at the Midian.
Fucking Invincible features members of Dropdead and Daughters and absolutely rips. Hell, I even reviewed their last full length It’ll Get Worse Before It Gets Better a couple of years back in this very blog. This time they will be completing a tour behind their current EP, I Hate Myself And Want You To Die.
In addition, you know we are big fans of Empty Vessels here at Alt Control, and you should be too. This hard playing and hard touring two piece know how to bring it. In their case, they’ll be starting their next round of touring at this show. Be sure to pick up a copy of their excellent new album Throw Your Shadow.
Rounding out the gig, you have the brutal hardcore d-beat beatdown of Boston’s Ascend/Descend and local bruisers Idle Time, who are fresh off opening for hardcore legends Poison Idea a few weeks ago.
The show starts at 8pm with music to soon follow afterward. There is a suggested donation of $5 – $10. Also, ask for directions and the location of the venue. Thanks.
